Since spending Tuesday with Nick from A Time to Get (I know I will get over it soon and move on from speaking about Nick and A Time to Get) I have been really interested in motorcycles and Motorcycle Clubs. So, I have been doing a little bit of research about the culture of Motorcycle clubs in Los Angeles which is minimal to say the least. In fact so minimal that there is basically no written history of anything that can remotely be substantial to write about. So here is the closest thing...
Falcon Motorcycles. The ungodly child was born by chance when veteran, and by this I do not mean old in the least, British motorcycle mechanic Ian Barry met Amaryllis Knight in Los Angeles. Having both a fond dream to create something everlasting they moved shop into a Sunset Blvd workspace in 2007. Since they have created masterpieces from derelict frames and pre-unit engines. From the ashes they create a pheonix by reworking, remolding, remachining every last part to give you the perfect motorcycle.
So, I have contacted them in an attempt to see shop and check out what they have to offer. So stay tuned for more next week.
P.S. - Thanks Nick for the lead.

So cool. I found a '70s Honda cl350 scrambler this past winter. It's my new project.
Damn, how'd that fall into your lap? I've been looking at trying to find myself a Batavus motorbike. My grandfather had one in the past when my father was youngin'. I wish I could find the same bike. But I would settle for a Royal Enfield.
Actually a friend of my dad's was looking to get rid of it so I took it off his hands. My dad actually rode a cl450 so I understand wanting one that you grandfather rode. Although I'd take a Royal Enfield too...
Wow, it's nice when luck falls into your hands. I'd love to check it out if you want to email me some pictures since Detroit is a little out of my range right now.
