In a series of stand alone text Penguin has released some of the most profoundly written and most profoundly designed covers I have laid my eyes on. Now these are some covers you are allowed the judge the book by and oh boy, do they make me want to read them. Penguin has taken some of their best books on philosophy, politics, science and even war and published them with letter-pressed and individually designed covers. If you haven't seen them here are a few of my favorites.
