Why Can't It Be The 60's

Whether it is movies set in the 60's or images of the early 60's, there is an undeniable amount of edge that the normal man portrays while in the most formal of outfits.  The boys were suave; the men were dapper.  And the women...what I can say about women is only an attempt at describing their unbelievable, indescribable beauty.  The 60's has always been an inspiration for me from Jean-Luc Godard to Mad Men, from Marcello Mastroianni to Tom Palumbo and now including C.C. Baxter (Jack Lemmon) and Tom Ford's A Single Man.

I agree with you! The men were always dressed so handsome and so charming, and the women (the curves) were amazing!

This post is an excellent explanation of the reasons that I have been sucked so deeply into the AMC drama MadMen.. The style is incredible and makes me wish for a corner office in 1963 Manhattan.
